This guide will show you how to style the buttons across your entire website. While you can style buttons individually in specific areas of your pages, certain elements — like the blog, cart and checkout pages — need to be styled through the WordPress customizer.
Go to your WordPress dashboard., Scroll down to Appearance and select Customize.
Within the Customizer, go to Colors & Fonts and then select Buttons.
Style the Button Text:•
Initial Color is the first option which is the first color seen at all times on the screen: Set this to your desired color from your global color palette.
• Hover Text Color is next to the initial color: This changes the text color when a user hovers over the button.
Style the Button Background:
• The first Background Color option is the main color seen on the screen at all times: Choose a color that contrasts with your text so it remains readable.
• Hover Background Color is next to the main color option: Adjust how the button looks when hovered.
You can also set a custom font for your buttons or allow them to inherit your site’s main font settings.• Adjust the font size, font type and spacing as needed.
Play around with colors, fonts, and sizes until you find a style that suits your website.• Don’t forget to click Publish to save your changes.
